  Since the practice was sold it seems to have gone downhill. 3 dentists in 2 years and somewhat of a nightmare to have a basic crown fitted. Told that the NHS don't do gold crowns any more and I'll have to pay privately WRONG. Check the NHS website it is covered. By the way I object to being forced to pay in full before starting treatment. OK some customers don't pay but it makes one feel as though they're not trusted. 5 visits later and 2 failed attempts at fitting poorly made crowns all is now OK.

  I Went for a standard checkup at my local dental surgery and ended up having to have two small fillings. I go to reception to book another appointment and the receptionist gave me a quote on how much the two fillings will be. The receptionist also said your overall cost will be £60. I then replied asking when i would have to pay this amount and she then said after youve had them done. I return the following week and have the fillings done, go down to reception and as i go to pay the same receptionist who said it will be £60 then says your overall cost today is £95.60 !!!!! I question her on this and she hardly gave me an explanation as to why it would be this price. It was only later when i called up another very kind receptionist explained all the charges to me. I was very disapointed when i left not only because it was quite misleading it was very unprofesional.
